Foundation Chairman

Position Summary :
Lead the development, monitoring and evaluation of the country strategies and ensure the planning, implementation, evaluation and accountability of Yayasan Gugah Nurani Indonesia strategic plans in order to achieve the organization goals.

Responsibilities :
  • Develop the Organization strategic documents (which may include Mid-Long Term Strategic Plan, Yearly Organization Target, and Plan of Action) and align them with the global strategies and directions, and the National medium and long term plan in order to facilitate the organization to manage the resources and achieve the organization’s goals.
  • Provide Organization Annual Report in order to ensure accountability and strengthen trust from all stakeholders (which may include internal stakeholders, donors, partners and beneficiaries).
  • Manage and monitor the overall day-to-day operation (which may include planning, organizing, actuating and controlling,  provide guidance on the organization operations policy, and liaise between Board of Trustees and Management Body) in order to ensure the good governance in the organization process to achieve the organization’s goals.
  • Coach and develop the capacity of Board Members and Executive Director to ensure the achievement of overall organization and increase the engagement level of Board Members and Executive Director toward the organization.
  • Opening a network of potential local donors and business partners by expanding the organization's network and reach to potential donors and business partners in order to strengthen the organization's financial sustainability
Qualifications :
  • S1 / Bachelor Degree; preferably Master Degree in Business Administration, Management or Development Studies.
  • 10+ years of relevant working experiences as a leader in development sector.
  • Proficient in English
