In an effort to enhance skills and economic independence among young people, Yayasan Gugah Nurani Indonesia (GNI) Manggarai Barat – Community Development Project (CDP) organized a Beauty Makeup Training at the Community Work Training Center (BLK) Karya Murni Labuan Bajo from 4–16 December 2025.

The Beyond Borders Volunteer Program is a POSCO initiative that encourages the direct involvement of young people—particularly global university students—in social and humanitarian activities across various sectors. Through this year’s program, POSCO Korea deployed 40 Korean student volunteers, who collaborated with 10 Indonesian student volunteers, to work directly with local communities in the field of education and the strengthening of learning environments through educational activities and school facility improvements in Cilegon City, Banten.

On 18 December, a group of students mentored by Gugah Nurani Indonesia (GNI) through the Mandalika Child Learning Center (MCLC) performed in front of an audience for the very first time.

Cilegon, 22 December 2025 – POSCO 1% Foundation officially graduated 82 participants from Batch 1 of the Korean Language Program, a collaborative initiative with the Government of Cilegon City and Gugah Nurani Indonesia (GNI).

On July 27, 2025, 1,100 runners participating in Run & Rise 2025 ran while carrying hope and a humanitarian mission to help transform the lives of our brothers and sisters who still struggle to access clean water. Without clean water facilities, the quality of life, especially for children, declines significantly, as water is the most essential element for sustaining life.

What comes to mind when we hear the word ecoliteracy? Some may think of environmental issues or simply waste management. Yet, ecoliteracy is actually a deeper form of awareness. Compared to the concept of the circular economy, ecoliteracy may not seem immediately appealing. However, the foundation of a circular economy begins with individuals who are ecoliterate.

From December 10 to 12, 2025, Gugah Nurani Indonesia carried out interventions to support children affected by the disaster in Sumatra, particularly in the Langkat area.

The journey began from downtown Tanjung, the capital city of North Lombok Regency, heading toward SMPN Satap 4 Gangga, a school located far inside the subdistrict area, requiring about 30–45 minutes of travel. At first, the vehicle followed the main road, which is the coastal route of North Lombok. On the left, the blue-green sea stretched wide, with rows of swaying coconut trees occasionally appearing, as if forming a natural fence between the road and the shore. The road felt smooth, allowing the vehicle to enjoy the unobstructed seaside view.

On November 19–22, 2025, one of Gugah Nurani Indonesia’s partner cooperatives, ETIKA (Enrekang Timur Kasiturutan), had the remarkable opportunity to bring Tobalu Coffee to South Korea for the 2025 Seoul Cafe Show, the largest café exhibition in Asia. This invitation was extended by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Seoul and the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Busan, who invited ETIKA’s participation through the support of GN-GIF.

Cilegon, 27 November 2025 — PT KOMIPO Energy Indonesia, together with Gugah Nurani Indonesia (GNI), officially inaugurated three elementary schools that have recently been renovated. This school renovation initiative is one of PT KOMIPO Energy Indonesia’s CSR programs in collaboration with GNI.
