- Lead Project Operations: Oversee day-to-day project implementation, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, governance standards, and budget management.
- Drive Program Implementation: Lead the planning, execution, and adaptive management of community development and CSR programs to achieve project outcomes aligned with organizational strategies and community priorities.
- Manage Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with donors, government agencies, private sector partners, community organizations, and local leaders to strengthen collaboration and maximize project impact.
- Lead and Develop Teams: Supervise, coach, and empower project staff and implementing partners through performance management, capacity building, and continuous learning.
- Ensure Quality, Monitoring, and Reporting: Monitor project progress, ensure timely delivery of outputs and outcomes, oversee data quality, and prepare accurate reports for management and donors.
- Manage Risks and Compliance: Identify operational, financial, and programmatic risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, safeguarding principles, and donor regulations.
- Represent the Organization: Serve as the primary representative of the project in coordination meetings, government forums, donor engagements, and external networking opportunities.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Development, Public Health, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, or other relevant disciplines. A Master's degree is an advantage.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience managing community development, CSR, or international development projects. Demonstrated experience working with NGOs, international organizations, foundations, or corporate CSR initiatives. Experience managing multi-stakeholder partnerships and donor-funded projects is highly preferred.
- Technical Competencies: Strong knowledge of project cycle management, Results-Based Management (RBM), Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), and risk management. Experience in project budgeting, work planning, and financial oversight. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital project management/reporting tools. Excellent analytical, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Language: Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with international donors and partners.
- Leadership Competencies: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage project implementation in complex stakeholder environments. Strong stakeholder engagement, networking, negotiation, and partnership-building skills across government, private sector, and community institutions. Ability to influence and advocate effectively with government agencies to align project implementation with local development priorities.
