The "E-Classroom Transformation Project" is a program by PT AGPA Refinery Complex (ARC)— a joint venture between POSCO International and GS Caltex— in collaboration with Gugah Nurani Indonesia.
The signing ceremony was attended by Sang Real Kim, CEO of PT ARC; Mathilda Antoinette Buisan, Chairperson of the Gugah Nurani Indonesia Foundation; and Mutanto, Head of the Branch Office of the East Kalimantan Education and Culture Department, Region 1. In addition, 50 guests were present, including representatives from teachers and students of SMKN 6 Balikpapan, SMAN 9 Balikpapan, and other organizations.
The signing took place between PT ARC, the East Kalimantan Department of Education and Culture, and Gugah Nurani Indonesia at the Auditorium of the East Kalimantan Education Department Branch Office, Region 1.
The "E-Classroom Transformation Project" aims to improve the quality of basic education and support digital education in North Balikpapan. Through the e-learning transformation classroom, the project combines digital technology with the learning process to make education more interactive, flexible, and collaborative.
Activities under this project include enhancing teachers' competencies in e-learning instruction, transforming classrooms both physically and virtually to support e-learning, and providing e-learning media.
The "E-Classroom Transformation Project" is planned to be implemented in two schools: SMKN 06 Balikpapan and SMAN 9 Balikpapan, both located in the rural areas of Balikpapan.
