The beneficiaries of this project involved in the process of establishment of the facilities. For the temporary houses, villagers were given a chance to modify the function of each room inside the temporary house according to their will. This strategy has taken to empower the beneficiaries to own their homes and also to be responsible for the sustainability of both the temporary house and drilled well.

All of the temporary houses built inside beneficiaries’ land property. The building is set to be occupied for at least a family room and bedroom.  Meanwhile, the drilled well built at the agreed location from both village government and villagers, which is accessible for a public use.

This recovery project initiated to response the earthquake and tsunami disaster happened in Donggala and Palu back in 2018. Many of the beneficiaries feel relieved, remembering that they had to live for more than a year at the ruins of their house; some even remained stay under the tent right before moving to the temporary house. There were unfortunate experiences that had been through by the villagers after the disaster. But now they are moving forward to build their new life in a more proper condition.
